University of Pécs TikTok project - Three years of joint success

Helping students navigate the admissions maze with TikTok. Our aim was to present the University of Pécs as an informative and authoritative resource for applicants and students already studying at Pécs University of Technology. We had to use the platform to provide both entertaining and valuable content to reach and retain the attention of the target group.

Solution

  • First year (2022/23): We launched a brand new TikTok channel, we started to build the university's presence on the platform, the goal was to find the “brand voice” of PTE.
  • Second year (2023/24): We found what types of content resonate best with our audience and tailored our communications accordingly.
  • Third year (2024/25): We have continued to refine tried and tested formats and strategies, while constantly updating the channel with new ideas.

 

In producing the content, we targeted viewers with entertaining but informative videos, adding value to the channel. It was also important to provide them with useful information, even information they could save, such as admission deadlines, choosing a course or the excitement of university life.

Results

More than 51 million impressions and a channel with a relevant target audience of 10,000 followers with mainly organic growth. We are proud to have won the University of Pécs TikTok tender for the third consecutive year. The success of the project was ensured by the creative and agile teamwork and the maximum use of the platform's potential.
